Newcastle Tuna Fest

The Newcastle Tuna Fest is back this July, 2026.

Starting 28 June 2026, set the reminder for another month-long celebration of seafood, restaurants and Newcastle’s coastal dining identity.

Enjoy this iconic Newcastle festival that celebrations what makes Newcastle so unique and special, with over 30 participating venues across Newcastle, each creating a signature tuna or seafood dish, giving locals and visitors the most memorable way to discover and explore the city, through their tastebuds.

Dine and experience the vibrant food culture that lives within Newcastle, proudly displayed by the city’s passionate local venues and chefs.

Here at Mercure Newcastle, we are proudly participating in the Newcastle Tuna Fest with a carefully curated dish of our own, available at our in-house restaurant & bar, Distrikt Newcastle.
